Material Handling Equipment supplier receives GSA contract.
Now government agencies and military can purchase easy to use workhorses to more safely and efficiently move wheel loads up to 50,000 lbs.

Shakopee, Minn., July 7, 2010—NuStar, Inc. announces it has received a GSA Multiple Award Schedule Contract for Building Materials/Industrial Services and Supplies, Special Item Number 357 2. Specifically, this means government agencies can purchase the following NuStar, Inc. products and accessories using a streamlined purchasing process and special low pricing:

  • The MFC-100™ pedestrian-operated, battery-powered cart. The MFC-100 cart is perfect for safely lifting and transporting 55-gallon drums weighing up to 800 lbs. To see how smoothly it works, view an MFC-100 cart video. It’s a perfect alternative to expensive forklift trucks, and you do not need an operator’s license.
  • The Power Pusher® pedestrian-operated, battery-powered pusher designed to allow one person to move wheeled loads weighing up to 50,000 lbs. up a 5% grade without forklifts or other more expensive ride-on equipment. It increases productivity by reducing the number of personnel needed to move heavy objects. It also creates a safer work environment by reducing the risk of injury. They are less expensive and easier to store than forklifts or tractors, plus operators do not need a license. The Extra Duty and Super Power Pusher models are also included in the contract
  • The new and improved Power Tug™ is a pedestrian-operated, battery-powered pusher that’s designed to overcome the steering and safety issues related to equipment having multiple castor/wheel arrangements. Each of the front legs is telescopic and has fixed wheels at the end. These wheels overcome the tendency to wander and are much safer than swivel casters or unfixed wheels. The Power Tug handles loads up to 5,000 lbs.

Army and Air Force bases and depots have successfully used the family of Power Pushers to move generators, vehicles, tanks, trailers, trucks and other heavy equipment and supplies for more than twenty years. Now purchasing these productive, easy to use material handlers is easier than ever. For details on NuStar’s GSA contract, call John Adams at 952-445-8295 or 800-800-9274.
